The Capability Maturity Model (CMM) requires agencies to provide a self-assessed rating against the six criteria both in terms of their current level of maturity and the level of capability maturity they require to meet organizational outcomes.

Objectives
The focus of this course is on improving an integrated TSMO program through management actions. Upon completion, participants will be able to:
- Communicate the appropriate focus on what has to change in your transportation agency to improve TSMO effectiveness
- Identify and leverage key processes and features of your organization that can serve as the basis for continuous improvement
- Demonstrate a focus on change management, not technical issues or specific TSMO strategy applications
- Apply a proven methodology for continuous improvement in your agency
