As a CITE partner what is expected of your University?

Participate in meetings and on committees.

CITE conducts 2 meetings a year. One is during the Transportation Research Board (TRB) Annual Meeting held every January in Washington, DC. The other is during the ITS America Annual Meeting held generally in May or June at various locations throughout the U.S. CITE has several committees formed to define issues and develop solutions in critical subject areas. These committees include: Business Models, Curriculum, Evaluation, and Instructional Technologies. Participation in meetings and on committees is vital to CITE's success. All university and industry partners are encouraged to attend one of CITE's two meetings each year and participate on at least one committee.

Offer CITE's courses.

The implementation of a vast array of ITS technologies has created a strong demand for highly skilled professionals. It is important for graduate students to arrive on the job with at least some knowledge and skills in intelligent transportation systems. CITE has already developed the courses...all you have to do is offer them.
