CITE offers three certificate programs: ITS Project Management, Traffic Engineering and Operations and ITS Systems. They offer the following advantages:

• Design Your Program - Each certificate contains three core courses, and you select two additional electives to complete the program. CITE provides several electives so you can select those courses that emphasize your specific interests and career choices. CITE has also included either "ITS Awareness " or "What's New in ITS" as a bonus course in all programs.
• Convenient & Flexible - All CITE courses are web-based and accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You will have one year to complete six CITE courses to earn your certificate.
• Cost Effective - Individually, these courses would cost more than $1,400, but CITE is offering this certificate program for only $625.
• Earn CEUs - Upon completion of your program, you will receive a certificate and Continuing Education Units certified from the University of Maryland.

PLEASE NOTE: The following Certificate called ITS Project Management is being sponsored jointly by CITE and the FHWA ITS Professional Capacity Building (PCB) Program. One of the advantages of this joint partnership is that you are eligible to take either all web-based courses through CITE or a combination of classroom courses through NHI and web courses through CITE. If classroom courses are taken through NHI, you will need to supply CITE with a copy of your certificate of completion to receive substitution credit. Please note that in order to complete the certificate, the only way to register is through CITE. A total of $105 credit will be taken from the $625 certificate fee for each classroom course that is taken from NHI. This substitution policy was effective as of November 1, 2005.
