2006 ITE Innovation in Education Award

CITE was nationally honored by winning the 2006 ITE Transportation Education Council Award for Innovation in Education. The purpose of the award is to recognize innovative ways of attracting, developing and/or retaining transportation professionals. The announcement was made during the ITE Annual meeting award honorees reception and dinner. CITE received a plaque and will receive special recognition in the "ITE Journal".

2005 Best of ITS Awards

CITE won one of the 2005 Best of ITS Awards that were given out during the ITS America 's 15th Annual Meeting and Exposition.  These awards recognize the organizations and agencies who demonstrate the most innovative and effective uses of advanced technologies in surface transportation. Awards were presented in eight categories.

CITE won the Education and Training category for its blended learning  courses.

2002 Best of ITS Awards

CITE won one of the 2002 Best of ITS Awards that were given out during ITS America’s 12th Annual Meeting and Exposition in May 2002. The Best of ITS Awards program recognizes the most innovative, effective, and influential projects and programs among ITS America’s members. CITE won the Education and Training category for the overall program CITE offers and its success to date.
